I. Full Itinerary tour of Luang Prabang

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LUANG PRABANG

Upon arriving at Luang Prabang International Airport, complete immigration procedures and meet your guide outside the main gate. You will then be transferred to your hotel for your overnight stay.

DAY 2: TOUR OF LUANG PRABANG – UNESCO SIGHTSEEING – BIKING TO BAN ANN

This recently opened center provides insight into the tribal peoples of Northern Laos. Bid farewell to the headman and villagers before taking a short long-tail boat ride on the Nam Khan River to Tad Sae Waterfall. The falls cascade over numerous calcified tiers, descending several hundred feet into a series of cool, turquoise pools. The water's clear blue-green tint is due to its high mineral content.

Enjoy a private breakfast in front of the waterfall, and then embark on a 3-4 hour trek through the deep jungle, ending at an elephant village. Here, you'll encounter Asian elephants in their natural habitat and visit the house of a Mahout, the elephant caretaker. In the afternoon, you'll arrive at Ban Xienglom for your second night of home-stay at the headman’s house.
